FRESHMAN (2013): Joined Eagles for spring practice in 2013… Helps prepare Eagle offense as a member of the scout team.
PREP: Lettered all four years for Coach Lee Chomskis at Vidalia Comprehensive… Was the Indians’ Offensive Player of the Year in as Vidalia won the Region 2AA championship in 2012… Earned second-team all-region recognition as a senior at cornerback… Standout on both offense and defense as a member of the junior varsity team, earning offensive player of the year honors as a freshman and defensive player of the year honors as a sophomore… Also lettered in track three times and earned a letter in baseball… Ran leg of the back-to-back Region 2AA 4X100m championship relay team… Advanced to state finals with of 4X100m Relay team and placed fourth.
PERSONAL: Born June 28, 1995 in Macon, Ga. to Goodman Craig and the late Lillian Persha-Craig… Selected as member of Beta Club… Writes that his mother had the biggest influence on his life because “of how hard she fought her battle with cancer even though she knew it was terminal.”… Admires Walter Payton, Ladamian Tomlinson and would have liked to see Usain Bolt compete in 2008 Bejing Olympics and break a world record… When not practicing, going to class or watching favorite movies such as “Scarface,” “Despicable Me 2” or anything with Denzel Washington, enjoys playing the piano… Favorite Georgia Southern tradition brings him back to his childhood when he played football behind the old scoreboard.
