2015-16: Played in four games before sustaining a season-ending injury… Saw action on eight plays on offense and 30 on special teams for the season … In his first outing, had two carries for 5 yards against West Virginia … He had two carries for 2 yards against Western Michigan … Had two carries for 4 yards against the Citadel … Had one carry for zero yards against Idaho … For the season, totaled seven carries for 11 yards, with his longest run being 3 yards … Recorded two tackles on special teams and a forced fumble against the Citadel … Suffered a shoulder injury and had season-ending surgery in October.
2014-15: Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport letterwinner who earned all-state honors as a sophomore, junior and senior … Ran for 1,300 yards and 20 touchdowns for Augusta Christian as a sophomore … Followed a spectacular year with 1,599 yards and 25 touchdowns as the Lions went 13-0 and won the state championship … Voted “Best Back” as a junior to go along with all-state and all-region honors … Injury in 2013 sidelined him for his senior season … Also lettered for Lions in track and baseball.
PERSONAL: Born September 15, 1994 … Son of Angela and Tom Banks … Continues the legacy of the Banks family and Georgia Southern Football as cousins Lee (2008-10) and Will (2010-13) played for the Eagles.
