SOPHOMORE (2012): Versatile athlete with intelligence who will provide depth at safety position and challenge veterans for playing time… Started four games at quarterback and played in 10 contests to earn second letter award … Opened the 2012 campaign with three-straight 100-yard-plus rushing games (164 Jacksonville, 101 The Citadel, 106 Elon)… Sprinted for a 79-yard touchdown vs. Jacksonville, the 10th longest rush play from scrimmage in Georgia Southern Football history… Also owns the fifth-longest rush play, an 83-yard score against Western Carolina in 2011… Scored career-best three rushing touchdowns with career-best rushing yards total (11-164) against Dolphins… Handed off to Eagle Dominique Swope for one of Swope’s three TDs vs. Jacksonville… Named the “Southern Pigskin/Steak ‘n’ Shake SoCon X-Factor of the Week for his effort in opener… Scored one-yard touchdown late at The Citadel to cap 11-play, 75-yard drive… Long rush of 23 of his 101 total brought the Eagles inside the Bulldogs’ 20 leading to an eventual McKinnon eight-yard score… Was 5-for-8 passing for 57 yards at The Citadel… Had six knockdowns vs. Bulldogs… Connected with Kentrellis Showers for 38-yards for his first career touchdown pass on opening drive vs. Elon… Completed 4-of-6 passes for 66 yards to complement 106 rushing yards in win over Phoenix… Threw three completions on four attempts for 46 yards against Furman, including a 25-yard rope to Darreion Robinson… Hit Zach Walker for 32-yard strike and Johnathan Bryant for 28 yards as Eagles drove on Mountaineers at end of the first half… Scored on 12-yard keeper vs. Appalachian State for his fifth career rushing touchdown… Went 3-for-3 in Eagles’ semifinal playoff game for a career-best 68 yards passing with a career-long 40-yard pass to Zach Walker… Finished the year third in total offense averaging 75.1 yards per game and 7.08 yards per play… Ranked fifth on the Eagles’ rushing list with 454 yards on 74 attempts and fifth on the scoring list with five rushing touchdowns… Completed 17-of-32 pass attempts for 297 yards with one passing TD in 2012.


REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2011): Appeared in eight games, including the first four of the season... Completed four passes for 35 yards... Carried the ball 26 times for 310 yards and three scores... Averaged 11.9 yards per play... Rushed five times for 63 yards and a touchdown against Tusculum (9/10)... Carried the ball four times for 119 yards, including an 83 yard touchdown, against Western Carolina (9/24)... Rushed three times for 65 yards and a score against Furman (10/15)... PREP: As a senior, rushed for 1,197 yards and 17 touchdowns on 97 carries at Hardee County High School... averaged 12.3 per rush and 108 yards per game... passed for an additional 350 yards and five touchdowns... led Wildcats to a 9-2 record and 2009 FHSAA Class 2A District 6 championship... team's offensive most valuable player as junior and senior... recorded 20 tackles, seven passes defended and four interceptions in spot play at defensive back... returned interceptions for a total of 141 yards and one touchdown... awarded the L.
