PREP: Played for Coach Rush Propst at Colquitt County High School as Packer Hawgs went to the state semifinals three of four seasons and finished as state runner up his sophomore year… Won the Jimmy Jeter “Mr. Dependable” Award and the Ron Lampman and Hawg Wild scholarships.
 
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 22, 1994 in Vidalia, Ga. … Son of Bob and Traci Jones, who is attending graduate school at Georgia Southern… One of four children and younger brother of Carter, a Georgia Southern graduate and former Eagle long snapper… Lists Buster Posey and Chipper Jones as his favorite athletes… Hobbies include playing guitar, Ultimate Frisbee, singing and cooking.
