GATA Productions
GATA Productions encompasses both the broadcasting and creative content departments for Georgia Southern Athletics. Together, we showcase our athletic programs through ESPN+ and social media platforms.
We are only able to make this possible with the help of Eagles like you! With your support, we will be able to upgrade our control room, provide necessary maintenance to equipment and also build a creative space for photo and video shoots. If you wish to donate, click here.

The broadcast staff has been bringing the ESPN+ broadcasts to a whole new level. Implementing the ticker, coming up with compelling storyline graphics, and even adding a drone shot; has elevated the broadcasts like no other. Our production team is only able to make these broadcasts happen with the help of full time employees as well as Georgia Southern students. These students range from freshman to senior classes, whether they are hired on or volunteers; both positions are able to work alongside our employees to get experience they will later use on in their career.
Aside from live game entertainment, the content for social media has taken a tremendous leap forward. With the help of full time staff, graduate assistants, and student workers; the creative content team has been able to produce compelling content for all of our social media platforms. Ranging from coaches interviews, to fun social pieces, to long-form content; this is a great way to reach more fans and viewers outside of our broadcasts. In 2024, our content team was awarded the Outstanding Social Media Video at the SVG College Summit Awards.
