STORYLINES
- The Georgia Southern Eagles will play their final game in the regular season Tuesday at Jacksonville. Georgia Southern wrapped up the Southern Conference slate and played their final home games over the weekend against the Western Carolina Catamounts.
- Tuesday's game will conclude the home and home series with the Dolphins. The Eagles won the first meeting in Statesboro 13-5 on April 1st.
- GSU has won 9 of the last 10 meetings against Jacksonville and has won six-straight contests.
- The Eagles pitching staff leads the league with a 3.07 ERA which ranks third best all-time in school history.
- GSU has won six of their last eight games and both of their last two SoCon series.
- Garrett Chapman is seeking to become the first freshman since 1984 to lead the team in batting average. Chapman currently is hitting a team-best .355.
