Rowland was also drafted twice and signed with the Detroit Tigers after being selected in the 19th round of the 2010 draft... Uncle, Garry Givens, pitched for Georgia Southern and was drafted in the 18th round of the 1978 draft... Givens was named All-Region after leading the 1978 squad in wins with 12.
