SOPHOMORE (2014): National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award Mid-Season Watch List... Tom Walter/Pete Frates College Baseball Inspiration Award Winner after his mother passed away during the Southern Conference Tournament... Appeared in all six games in the tournament and allowed one run over 13.1 combined innings... SoCon Tournament Most Outstanding Player and SoCon All-Tournament Team... All-Southern Conference Second Team relief pitcher... Jewish Sports Review All-America First Team... 5-1 with a 1.20 ERA... Lowered his ERA to 0.96 in conference play... Led the nation in appearances and set a new school record with 47... Recorded three saves... Tossed 89.2 innings which ranked third on the team behind starters Sam Howard and Josh Wirsu... FRESHMAN (2013): Went 4-5 with a 6.12 ERA in 16 games... Made 14 starts... Led the team with 14 starts and squad went 6-8... Struck out 42 batters and walked 28 in 72.0 innings pitched... Went 2-3 with a 5.92 ERA in 11 games and 9 starts in Southern Conference play... Averaged 4.50 innings per appearance... Went 4-2 with a 4.74 ERA in eight home starts... Earned a win in his Eagle debut against Georgia (2/17)... Allowed one run on three hits and struck out six batters over 5.1 innings pitched... Held Wofford (3/9) scoreless over a seven inning start... Held Davidson (3/23)to two runs on five hits over 8.1 innings pitched... Pitched well in a loss to Appalchian St. (4/6), allowing two runs over 6.2 innings... Received a no decision but allowed just three runs over seven innings against Furman (5/4).

PREP: Lettered three times and served as team captain his senior year for Milton High School in Alpharetta, Ga... Played for head coach Joey Ray... PERSONAL: Born Jason Brian Richman on October 15, 1993 in Marietta, Ga... Son of Steve and the late Natalie Richman... Has two siblings Alex and Lindsay... Names his brother, Alex a cancer survivor, as his biggest influence on his life because he is his biggest fan and critic.
