SOPHOMORE (2012): Poised for a breakout season… Possesses all the tools to be an all-conference player with combination of power and intelligence… Uses hands well against the pass and plays gap well… Earned second letter with 14 games played and a start against Howard… Had three quarterback hurries to go along with two tackles for loss (-7)… Finished 2012 season with 11 total tackles (4u, 7a)… Posted career-best three total tackles (1u, 2a) vs. Howard with a tackle for loss with Dion DuBose… Shared a tackle for loss with Edwin Jackson at The Citadel during critical fourth-quarter drive… Credited with quarterback hurry in Elon’s final fourth-quarter drive as Phoenix QB threw incomplete to set up 3rd and 13… Split a tackle for loss with teammate Trevor Shaw in Elon game… Charged Central Arkansas quarterback for a hurry as Eagles held Bears scoreless in final quarter… Teamed with Javon Mention on sack (-5 yards) of Appalachian State QB to push Mountaineers back to their own one-yard line in third quarter… Also had a quarterback hurry vs. Samford... Made solo tackles at Chattanooga and at Georgia… Recorded two assisted tackles vs. Wofford on back-to-back plays with Kyle Oehlbeck and John Stevenson before Terriers had to punt on three-and-out in second quarter.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2011): Played in 11 games on the defensive line... Recorded eight tackles, one sack and forced a fumble... Totaled two stops and a tackle for a loss against Tusculum (9-10)... Posted two more tackles against Presbyterian (10-22)... Forced and recovered a fumble against Chattanooga (10-8).

FRESHMAN (2010): Redshirted... Two tackles recorded for loss of 10 yards (3, 7 sack) for White defense in 2011 Spring game... had three tackles total.

PREP: Played for Coach Nick Collins at Newton High School... honorable mention at offensive tackle for all-state honors as a junior and senior... selected to first team All-Region and All-County as an offensive and defensive lineman ... also tabbed as first-team All-Newton County Offense and Defense... three-year letterman in football and served as team captain his junior and senior years... also lettered in track and field... served as Rams defensive captain with 65 tackles and team-leading eight sacks... also recorded 21 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and 10 quarterback pressures... played for Coach Nick Collins.

PERSONAL: Born in Columbia, S.C., on December 5, 1991... son of Joe and Angy Ejike... goes by the nickname of “Jeek”...has three other siblings Nancy, Kingsley, and Chris... most admires his mother... favorite pre-game song is Jet Life by Big Krit.
