JUNIOR (2012): Eagles’ veteran offensive lineman with most experience with 29 starts in 39 career games who will be relied on for leadership… Expected to play in the tradition of Georgia Southern’s All-Americans and add to impressive lineage… Showed versatility by moving from left to right tackle and helped out at guard when injuries took their toll in spring… Played in 12 games with starting assignments in five… Three-year letterwinner at offensive tackle earned postseason honors from several sources… College Sports Madness saved a spot on its third-team All-America offense for the junior… Both coaches and media members of the Southern Conference named him to the first team All-Conference offense… Southern Pigskin and Phil Steele Publications concurred with those choices, also selecting him for first team Southern Conference honors on offense… Big factor in Eagles’ rushing game success as Georgia Southern captured the NCAA Division I rushing title averaging 399.4 net yards per game, second best average in program history (1999-419.0)… Offensive line also helped push for four of the top six NCAA FCS single-game rushing performances of the year, including the top total in the NCAA with 614 at Western Carolina… Registered 10 knockdowns vs. Samford, tying for team best in that game… posted three straight weeks with solid numbers on knockdown chart with nine vs. Wofford, seven at Furman and eight at Chattanooga.
SOPHOMORE (2011): All-Southern Conference Second Team selection by the league’s head coaches... Appeared in 12 games with nine starts on the offensive line... Started the first 9 games of the year before missing two games against Alabama (11/19) and Old Dominion (12/3)... Helped the offense average 320.4 rushing yards per game in his 9 starts... Appeared in the final two playoff games against Maine (12/10) and North Dakota State (12/17).
FRESHMAN (2010): Started all 15 games at left tackle... Named to the SoCon All-Freshman team.
PREP: First-team All-Region as a senior... Graded out an average of 90 percent during senior season... Three-time “Lineman of the Week” for Westside-Macon as a senior... Named Macon Touchdown Club Lineman of the Week (2009)... Coached by Sheddrick Risper.
