JUNIOR (2012): High-effort, tough player whose heart makes up for his lack of height… Has a true passion for playing the game of football and wants to be the go-to guy in critical situations… Played in all 14 games with starts against Chattanooga and Appalachian State with offensive touches in 11 contests… Finished season with 442 rushing yards and four touchdowns… Scored career-best three rushing touchdowns vs. Mountaineers (4, 20, 36)… Career day against ASU with 19 carries yielded best 129 yard total for second career 100-yard outing… Career-long 36-yard rush finished off a five-play, 80-yard drive in second quarter… Tied career-long rush of 36 against Howard the following week to bring Eagles to Bison 11 and eventual touchdown… Finished day with six carries for 62 yards… Scored first career touchdown (13) and went over 100-yards rushing vs. Western Carolina… Contributed 26-yards to the 9-play, 93-yard scoring drive in the fourth quarter vs. Catamounts… Carried five times for 36 total yards at ODU, all during fourth-quarter scoring drive to tie game at 35 all… Brought GSU all the way to the ODU five for first-and goal with back-to-back rushes, including long of 17 vs. Monarchs… Picked up 69 yards in Chattanooga triple overtime win with long of eight coming as Georgia Southern drove for second TD in first-quarter action…Registered three total tackles (1u, 2a), though stats not indicative of all contributions on special teams unit… Won first letter… Enrolled in two-week field study for Sport Management major after end of semester… Class visited with several executives from sports organizations on the West Coast including the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, Nike and many others… Earned academic honors as a member of the University’s Dean’s List for Fall 2012 with 3.50 grade point average.
