Baseball Alumni Weekend Set for March 8-10

STATESBORO - Georgia Southern baseball head coach Rodney Hennon has announced the dates for the annual Alumni Weekend. The weekend is set for March 8 - March 10, the weekend of the Radford series. All former Georgia Southern players, coaches, managers, trainers, etc. are invited back for the weekend's events.
The weekend's events will start with the annual Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament at Forest Heights Golf and Country Club. The cost for each individual player is $150, or $600 for a group of four. The price also includes a box lunch and a commemorative Georgia Southern baseball polo. A maximum of 40 people are able to participate, so entry is first come, first serve.
Prior to Saturday's game, there will be a baseball alumni pre-game reception inside J.I. Clements Stadium, as well as an on-field recognition for all baseball alumni in attendance. There will be a special recognition for the 2009 SoCon Champions team that participated in the Fullerton Regional and 2014 SoCon Champions team who reached the Tallahassee Regional, shutting out #5 and regional host Florida State to open the regional.
After Saturday's game, there will be a private post game gathering for all baseball alumni in the upstairs bar area of Gnat's Landing.
Alumni can RSVP for tickets and golf by contacting the ticket office at 1-800-GSU-WINS (478-9467) or tickets@georgiasouthern.edu.
All baseball alumni will receive two complimentary tickets for all 3 games against Radford and an Alumni Weekend T-Shirt. Any additional tickets can be purchased at the main gate at JI Clements Stadium or you may call the GSU Ticket Office at 1-800-GSU-WINS.
