STATESBORO – David Viti tallied a game-high 12 points to go along with a career-high six rebounds, and Georgia Southern held Carver to 10 made baskets in a 92-27 men's basketball win over the Cougars Tuesday evening in Hanner Fieldhouse.

Elijah McCadden scored 11, and
Kamari Brown chipped in 10 points, two boards and two steals.
Zack Bryant tallied nine points, four assists and tied a career high with three blocked shots, and
Eric Boone completed his second straight game without a turnover while contributing nine points, five assists and two steals. All 13 available Eagles played and scored in the contest.
Key Moments
Georgia Southern (4-2) started the game with a 17-2 run and capped the first half with a 19-3 spurt to lead 51-12 at the break.
Prince Toyambi scored five of the Eagles' first seven points, while McCadden scored six straight points in Georgia Southern's final run of the period. Bryant netted six as the Eagles scored the first 19 points of the second period and opened a 72-12 cushion on a Viti dunk with 12:15 remaining.
Key Stats
The Eagles held Carver to 10 of 53 from the floor and 1 of 12 from long distance, and the made triple was a first-half buzzer beater that went off the window and in. Georgia Southern shot 59 percent at the other end and made 20 of 29 from the field (69 percent) in the first period.
It was the least points Georgia Southern has allowed in a game since a 63-24 win over Piedmont in December of 1947. The Eagles held the Cougars to 12 points in the first half, the least since Judson scored 12 in the first frame Dec. 30, 1985.
