
Men's Basketball Adds Josh Dixon to 2026-27 Roster

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern men's basketball secured its second signing of the 2026-27 transfer class, announcing the addition of Josh Dixon, a combo guard from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.
Dixon, a 6-foot-1 guard, from Charlotte, North Carolina, and Milton High School, appeared in 32 games for the Panthers, making 12 starts in his rookie campaign. Dixon averaged 9.0 points per game in 18.5 minutes of work. The freshman guard shot 39 percent from the field (103-of-264), including 31.2 percent from beyond the arc (29-of-93).
The Charlotte, North Carolina, native posted a career high 28 points in 35 minutes against Cleveland State, shooting 10-of-19 from the floor, adding four three-pointers.
