
Men's Basketball Announces Signing of Rashaad Williams

STATESBORO – Georgia Southern men's basketball has its first signing of the 2026-27 transfer class, announcing the addition of Rashaad Williams, a guard from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
Williams, a 6-foot-1 guard from Norfolk, Virginia and Massanutten Military Academy, appeared in 30 games for the Griffins, while making 20 starts in his rookie campaign. Williams averaged 13.4 points per game in 32.4 minutes of work. The freshman guard shot 41 percent from the field last year (139-of-339) and 36.8 percent from beyond the arc (53-of-144).
Additionally, Williams averaged 3.8 rebounds per game, 3.9 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. Last season, the Norfolk, Virginia, native collected a career-high 36 points on the road at California (PA) on 11-of-23 shooting and knocking down 8-of-12 three-pointers. He closed his freshman campaign scoring in double figures in 23 of his 30 games played.
