Two Matches Determined In Third Set
Atlanta, Ga. – The Georgia Southern Women's Tennis Team concluded action at the ITA Regional Championships today from the Ken Byers Tennis Complex on the campus of Georgia Tech.
In the Quarterfinals of B Doubles, Jordana Klein and Guilia Riepe dropped a 8-4 decision to Niriantsa Rasolomala and Kristin Rehse of Georgia State.
The A Singles Consolation Bracket saw Mary Phillips Smith fall to Hailey Grillo of South Florida (6-7, 6-4, 6-3) while teammate Klein suffered a (6-1, 6-3) setback from Alizee Michaud of Stetson University.
Anne Kurzweil was eliminated (6-2, 5-7, 6-2) in the B Singles bracket by Stetson's Eveline Lepinay.
The Eagles will now focus on the Wofford Invitational as they travel to Spartanburg, South Carolina on Friday October 31st.
