TROY, Ala. - Georgia Southern women's tennis concluded its 2026 regular season on Saturday with a 4-2 loss to host Troy in Troy, Ala.

The Eagles (8-12) will now turn their attention to the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Championships in Rome, Ga., which begins on Wednesday, April 22. The full bracket will be released by the conference office on Monday. Troy improves to 12-7 with the victory.

Lisen Rinman and Mackenzie Leopold gave the Eagles a quick 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles, but Troy won at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles by 7-5 scores to collect the doubles point.

In singles, the Trojans raced out to a 3-0 lead with straight-set wins at No. 2 and No. 4 singles. Evelyn Warkentin put the Eagles on the board with her 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles over Maria Guirguis, her third straight singles win. Mackenzie Leopold would earn a 7-6, 6-1 win over Veena Nazar at No. 6 singles, but Troy would then wrap up the match with a three-set win at No. 3 singles.
