KENNESAW, Ga. – Georgia Southern women's tennis opened its 2026 fall campaign this weekend at Kennesaw State, with the Eagles competing against Kennesaw State and Mercer in singles and doubles action at the Mid Major Mayhem Hidden Duel.

Evelyn Warkentin, Franzi Heinemann, Angelina Mihajlovic, Reese Parker, Natalie Crawford, Annik Freund and Amelie Rosadoro each competed in singles action throughout the weekend. Warkentin, Mihajlovic, Parker, Crawford and Rosadoro each picked up victories, while Heinemann and Parker also teamed up for a doubles win.

In doubles, Heinemann and Parker defeated Kennesaw State's Lucie Nouzova and Jenelle Roberts, 6-3. Crawford and Warkentin, as well as Freund and Mihajlovic, also competed in doubles action.

Georgia Southern will return to action on Oct. 2 at the Mercer Gridiron Classic in Macon, Ga.
