ATHENS, Ga.-Georgia Southern women's tennis team hits the road for University of Georgia this weekend to compete in the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament. The Eagles participating in the tournament are Paola Garrido, Jordana Klein, Caitlin Kitchen, Stephi Woods, and Mary Phillips Smith.
"This tournament provides great experience for the team as we will face tough competition in each match," said Head Coach Amy Bonner. "The team is excited about the opportunity to play against some of the best players in the nation and we are looking forward to competing at such a great event. The team has been preparing the past few weeks by playing a lot of points and simulated match play as well as playing a lot of doubles in practice. We are hoping that this tournament will give us some good match play experience that we can carry with us as we competing these last few weeks of our fall schedule."
