SENIOR (2017): Played in 47 games with 42 starts behind the dish… Hit .280/.351/.293 as a senior… Drove in 24 runs while scoring 21 runs… Caught seven runners stealing in 37 attempts… Finished the season with a .995 fielding percentage, tying for the highest among everyday fielders… Picked off four runners… Ranked second on the team with seven sacrifice bunts… Earned Georgia Southern Athletic Director award for outstanding work in the classroom.

JUNIOR (2016): Played in 55 games… Started 45 games, 32 at catcher, five at right field, and three at left field… Hit .232/.333/.318 in 190 plate appearances… Recorded 39 hits in 168 AB, scoring 31 runs and 17 RBI… Hit five doubles and four home runs… Had 11 multiple hit games… Tied the team lead, tied for second in the conference and tied 17th in the nation in sacrifice bunts with 14… Tied for second in the conference in runners picked off with five… Season-high three runs scored at Appalachian State (3/12 Game 1)… Season-high three hits at Arkansas State (3/24)… Named to Sun Belt Honor Roll.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Played in 26 games with 17 starts in his second season in Statesboro... Hit .237/.328/.305/ with seven RBIs... Started 14 games at catcher and four at designated hitter... Scored multi-hit games against Jacksonville (3/25) and at Clemson (5/9)... Named to Sun Belt’s Honor Roll.

FRESHMAN (2014): Named to the Sun Belt Commissioner’s List... Hit .231/.279/.230 with 7 RBI in 26 games... Made 16 starts at catcher... Tallied 13 hits in 61 at-bats and scored 14 runs... Scored two runs on a pair of hits against UMES (2/21)... Drove in a run with a hit and a walk the next day... Tallied two hits and a RBI against Jacksonville (4/1)... Plated two more runs with two hits against UNCG (4/12)... Hit his only double and went one for three against College of Charleston (4/23).

PREP: Played for head coach Andy Harlin at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School... Lettered four times for the Titans... Twice named All-Region... A two time Dugout Club All-Tournament team selection... Also played three seasons of football... Named Magna Cum Laude eight times... Named the school’s Golden Glove award winner... Twice helped the Titans to the elite eight.

PERSONAL: Born Christopher James Brazil on August 29, 1994 in Baltimore, Md... Son of Lauraine and Terry Brazil... Has a brother Michael, who played tennis for Kennesaw State.
