SOPHOMORE (2017): Pitched in 16 games with 12 starts… Recorded a 3-5 record with a 4.33 ERA… Struck out 70 batters in 68.2 innings of work… Earned the start on opening day before serving as the Saturday starter the first two months of the season… Struck out 12 batters at Elon (3/10) in the second game of the Friday doubleheader, tossing a two-hit shutout… Went the distance in a midweek contest at Kennesaw State, allowing just three hits with 10 strikeouts…Threw 6.1 innings of relief against Texas State in the Sun Belt Tournament Semifinal, fanning eight batters in the 11-5 win… Earned a spot on the Sun Belt All-Tournament Team.

FRESHMAN (2016): Pitched in 16 games, starting 13… Had a 6-2 record… Allowed 59 hits and 33 runs (28 earned), striking out 35… Had a 3.74 ERA… Pitched 67.1 innings… Opposing batting average of .238… Season-high six strikeouts at Appalachian State (3/12 Game 2)… Pitched 7.0 shutout innings, allowing five hits and striking out five vs. North Florida (5/11)… Pitched a complete game, allowing four hits and one run, striking out four vs. Georgia State… Pitched 7.1 shutout innings, allowing six hits and striking out four against South Alabama (5/28)… Named to Sun Belt Commissioner's List.

PREP: Played for head coach Stacy Bennett at Richmond Hill High School... Named Region 3-5A North Player of the Year in 2015 as well as All-State by the Georgia Dugout Club... Picked up All-Region 3-5A in 2014 to go with Greater Savannah All-Prep Team honors in 2014 and 2015... Recorded an 8-1 record to go with a 1.52 ERA and 51 strikeouts over 50 innings of work.

PERSONAL: Born Brian Scott Eichhorn II in Richmond Hill, Ga. on August 15, 1997... Son of Brian and Kathy Eichhorn... Has two sisters, Emily and Abby... His father played catcher at UNC Wilmington.
