Eagles Set for First Road Test of 2026 Season

TUSCALOOSA, ALA. – Georgia Southern softball hits the road for the first time in 2026, traveling to Alabama for a three-day tournament test against a challenging field featuring host the No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide, the Purdue Boilermakers and the Liberty Flames from Feb. 13-15 that will measure the Eagles early and set the tone for their nonconference slate.

- Bailey Holland posted her 16th career complete game and fourth career shutout against UNC Greensboro on Sunday, Feb. 8, aiding the Eagles 3-2 victory.
- Delanie Thames off to a hot start. In 16 at-bats, the Eagles' shortstop recorded four runs, 10 hits – four doubles and two home runs – and seven RBI along with a .625 batting average and 1.250 slugging.
