Eagles Set for First Road Test of 2026 Season

TUSCALOOSA, ALA. – Georgia Southern softball hits the road for the first time in 2026, traveling to Alabama for a three-day tournament test against a challenging field featuring host the No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide, the Purdue Boilermakers and the Liberty Flames from Feb. 13-15 that will measure the Eagles early and set the tone for their nonconference slate.

Bailey Holland posted her 16th career complete game and fourth career shutout against UNC Greensboro on Sunday, Feb. 8, aiding the Eagles 3-2 victory.
Delanie Thames off to a hot start. In 16 at-bats, the Eagles' shortstop recorded four runs, 10 hits – four doubles and two home runs – and seven RBI along with a .625 batting average and 1.250 slugging.
Several new faces made their debut in blue and white: Demere Gray, Shaylin Stringer, Hannah Worthington, Kaylee Croft, Carley Ramsden, Kennedy Shea and Jaycee Bilbrey.
