The Boilermakers claimed Game One, posting a 4-0 win in the first game of the Easton Bama Bash.
The Boilermakers drew early support, putting two runs on the board in the first inning and adding to their lead with a solo homer in the fourth and an RBI double in the seventh. Purdue tallied four runs on eight hits in 28 at-bats, including one double and two homers, and drove in four runs.
