NEW ORLEANS– Men's basketball guard
Tyren Moore was named to the All-Sun Belt Second Team, the league announced on Monday.
Moore, the Eagles' leading scorer, also leads the team in assists and 3PT percentage. His 11 20-point games lead the Sun Belt, and his 18.4 ppg during Sun Belt play leads the conference.
He also sits tied for second in threes, fifth in field goal percentage, free-throw percentage and assists per game during conference games while also having a 1.7 assist-to-turnover ratio, eighth in the conference.
Moore's 34 points against Marshall on Jan. 10 were the highest by an Eagle since 2016. He also scored 20 or more points in the last four games of the season.
This is the second straight year the Eagles have had a student-athlete on the Second Team, as
Andrei Savrasov was on the team last season.
The All-Sun Belt Second Team is as follows:

Moore and the Eagles will look for a run to the NCAA Tournament in Pensacola for the Sun Belt Championship beginning on Thursday.
