2026 Athletics Hall of Fame Nomination Form
Georgia Southern University is proud to announce the initiation of the nomination process for the 2026 induction class of the GS Athletics Hall of Fame. The official induction ceremony and reception will be during the weekend of a home football game (date TBD). Members are inducted to the GS Athletics Hall of Fame once every two years.
Friends and supporters of Georgia Southern University are encouraged to participate in the nomination process, which will conclude on March 1, 2026 at 5 PM (ET). Once nominated for a first time, an individual is considered for a period of 10 years before he or she rolls off the ballot and cannot be nominated back on.
An online nomination form is provided below to assist you in this endeavor. Supporting information for your nominee can be emailed to gseagleswin@gmail.com. A VALID CONTACT PHONE NUMBER MUST BE PROVIDED FOR YOUR NOMINEE (OR CLOSE CONTACT) FOR THE PROCESS TO COUNT!
Criteria: A time period of 10 years since leaving Georgia Southern must have elapsed for a student-athlete to be eligible. A time period of five years must have elapsed since a coach, administrator or athletic official has held an official capacity at GS. Supporters are eligible immediately. Exceptions to time period guidelines must receive a unanimous vote of the committee.
