JACKSONVILLE, Fla.– Georgia Southern men's basketball will take part in the Jacksonville Classic MTE, hosted at the Adams-Jenkins Community Sports & Music Complex of Edward Waters from Nov. 23-25.
The ten-team field features multiple mid-major programs and is the largest MTE on the East Coast.
The 2025 Jacksonville Classic field includes: 
- Abilene Christian (Western Athletic Conference) 
- Delaware (Conference USA) 
- Georgia Southern (Sun Belt Conference) 
- Southern Illinois (Missouri Valley Conference) 
- UAB (American Athletic Conference) 
- UNC Greensboro (Southern Conference) 
- UTEP (Conference USA) 
- UTSA (American Athletic Conference) 
- William & Mary (Coastal Athletic Association) 
- Youngstown State (Horizon League) 
The Jacksonville Classic has quickly established itself as a staple of the college basketball schedule,  delivering competitive matchups, national exposure, and a boost to the local community. With programs from across the country converging in Jacksonville, fans can expect three days of high-energy basketball and memorable moments from the largest college basketball event on the East Coast.
