Men’s Basketball Releases 2025-26 Non-Conference Schedule

Eagles will have six at home, six on the road and one MTE

STATESBORO – The Georgia Southern men's basketball team has released its 2025-26 non-conference schedule, which includes six home games, six away games and one multi-team event.

The Eagles will kick off the season with a trip to Greenville on Nov. 4 to take on East Carolina. GS previously battled the Pirates during an MTE in 2023-24.

GS' home opener will be four days later on Nov. 8 against UNC Asheville, followed by a Veteran's Day showdown at Florida Gulf Coast (Nov. 11) and a home date with Johnson C. Smith (Nov. 14).

The team will have its first two games against Power Conference opponents since the 2023-24 season back-to-back, first returning to Georgia Tech (Nov. 18) and following with a trip to Tallahassee to face Florida State (Nov. 21). The Eagles and Seminoles have not played since the 2007-08 season.

After a Thanksgiving MTE, the Jacksonville Classic (Nov. 24-25), three of the Eagles final five non-conference games will be at home, with Houston Christian (Nov. 29) and future Sun Belt opponent Louisiana Tech (Dec. 3) coming to The Hill.

The Eagles close out non-conference with three games in a week: at Gardner-Webb (Dec. 6), Coastal Georgia (Dec. 11) and finally wrapping it up at West Georgia (Dec. 13). GS will head to Carrollton for the first time in program history.

Charlie Henry and co. went 17-16 last season and will look to improve with a new-look roster in 2025-26.
