STATESBORO, Ga. - The Georgia Southern Men's Tennis is on a big winning streak, winning its last five matches to move to 5-1 overall. Included in that number was Friday's big wins over UCONN and North Carolina A&T. The Eagles defeated UCONN 7-0 and NC A&T 7-0 at home.

The Eagles started the day early with their match against UCONN in Wallis Tennis Center. The Blue and White went on to take down UCONN, winning all six singles matches and all three doubles. Later in the day, the Eagles won their second match against North Carolina A&T. The Eagles improved to 5-1 on the season.

"Today we played well in both matches. I liked our focus and attitude throughout the matches and we were determined to not give anything away. We will work on some little things before playing two tough road matches in Wilmington."
