Men's Tennis Introduces Nationally-Ranked Recruiting Class For 2026-27

Three freshman comprise the No. 21 ranked class among mid-majors
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern head men's tennis coach Andrew Goodwin has announced the Eagles' incoming recruiting class for 2026-27, consisting of three freshmen. The class was ranked the No. 21 best calss among mid-majors by TennisRecruiting.net.
Coming to Statesboro this Fall are: Charles Billard de Saint Laumer (Paris France); Amar Huseinovic (Skopje, North Macedonia) and Oliver Pettigrove (Exeter, N.H.). The trio join five returners from last season's squad to make up the roster for Georgia Southern men's tennis in 2026-27.
"I couldn't be more excited about Charles, Oliver and Amar joining our program," Georgia Southern head men's tennis coach Andrew Goodwin said. "Each of them have a different background and will add something unique to our team. But what they share is an incredible drive to be successful and passion for the people in this program. We are as confident as we have ever been heading into our fall season and can't wait to get started."

Achieved a career high ITF Juniors ranking of 1803 … Reached the quarterfinals of the J30 Le Pontet event in Avignon … Won the J30 Honfleur doubles title in October 2023 and reached the finals of the J30 Ponts de Ce event … Will major in international affairs at Georgia Southern.

Skopje, North Macedonia

Attended Drzavno Sredno Uciliste in North Macedonia ... Achieved career high ITF junior ranking of 296 in May of 2025 ... Captured the J60 Ulcinj and J60 Skopje singles titles in the Spring of 2025 ... Reached the doubles final of the J100 Izmir tournament in Turkey … Will major in sport management at Georgia Southern.
Oliver Pettigrove

Graduated from the ICL Academy ... Played club for Manchester Athletic Club and coach Danny McGuire ... Ranked Top 10 in the USTA's New England ranking among U18s ... Qualified for the J60 Mount Pleasant event in November 2025 by winning three qualifying singles matches ... Advanced to the quarterfinals of the J30 Cincinnati event in June 2025 … Will major in sport management at Georgia Southern.
