DAHLONEGA, GA. – The No. 26 ranked Georgia Southern Rifle team was back in action this weekend with a trip to North Georgia for a five-team meet in Dahlonega. The Eagles did their shooting on Sunday, Feb. 7 ranking fourth with four season highs and one career best on the day.
Tori Lewis led the Eagles with a 1,106 aggregate score as she posted new season highs on the small bore and for total score.
Emmy Johnson posted a career-best score of 574 on the air rifle while ranking third on the Georgia Southern squad.
Courtney Weekley also scored a season-best score on the small bore with a 537.
The Eagles return to Dahlonega next weekend for a head-to-head match against the Nighthawks at the Col. Raymond C. Hamilton Rifle Range.
