STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern men's basketball coach Mark Byington and women's basketball coach Chris Vozab made a special delivery Thursday morning, presenting Brenda Aytes, Assistant Director of Printing & Postal Services, with her season tickets for 2013-14.

Aytes bought season ticket packages for both the men's and women's games. She has been a season ticket holder for women's basketball since 2009 and has had men's basketball season tickets since 2010.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet Byington and Vozab along with their players at Meet the Eagles at the Statesboro Mall from 12-1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19. TrueBlue schedule posters will be distributed, and both teams will be available for pictures and autographs.

Season tickets are still available for the 2013-14 season. Lower reserved seating for men's games starts at $90 with upper level general admission tickets available for $60, and women's basketball season tickets are $65. Georgia Southern University faculty and staff receive a $10 discount on season tickets.

The men's basketball team returns nine lettermen from a season ago and has added four scholarship student-athletes to this year's roster. The women's team returns four starters and nine letterwinners, including four of its top-five scorers from last season.

The men's team opens the 2013-14 campaign at home against Columbia International Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. The women's team opens the season at Auburn Nov. 9, and plays its home opener against Jacksonville State Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m., in a tripleheader with the Eagle volleyball and men's basketball teams.
