STATESBORO, Ga. – Fans will have the opportunity to meet the 2013-14 Georgia Southern men's and women's basketball teams this Saturday as Meet the Eagles is set for Oct. 19, in the Statesboro Mall.
The event will run for 12-1 p.m. in the center court area of the mall. TrueBlue posters will be distributed, and the teams and coaching staffs will be available for autographs.
The men's basketball team returns nine lettermen from a season ago and has added four scholarship student-athletes to this year's roster. The women's team returns four starters and nine letterwinners, including four of its top-five scorers from last season.
Season tickets are available for the 2013-14 season. Lower reserved seating for men's games starts at $90 with upper level general admission tickets available for $60 for the season. Women's basketball season tickets are $65. Georgia Southern University faculty and staff receive a $10 discount on season tickets.

The men's team opens the 2013-14 campaign at home against Columbia International Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. The women's team opens the season at Auburn Nov. 9, and plays its home opener against Jacksonville State Nov. 16 at 5:30 p.m., in a tripleheader with the Eagle volleyball and men's basketball teams.
