2018-19 Sun Belt Commissioner's List

Freshman (2018): Missed the first half of the season with an injury • Played in 15 matches and started 13 • Tallied 78 kills, 19 aces, 100 digs and five blocks in 51 sets • Tallied 13 kills, 11 digs and a block at ULM (10/19) • Posted 12 kills, nine digs and a block vs. Little Rock (10/26).

Prep: Competed for U20 and U23 Chile National Team • Captain of both high school and club teams • Named Best School Athlete of the country in 2016 and 2017 (chosen by the Chilean school league) • Club team won first place at youth national championship in 2014 and 2016 • Won Best Spiker at youth national championship in 2016 and 2017 and Best Player in 2017 • High School won national championship from 2013-17, took 13th place world school championship 2016 and third place world school championship 2017 (beach volleyball) • Also a national champion in the javelin throw in 2013, 2015 and 2017; won first place at the German Schools national championship from 2014-17.

Personal: Born Sept. 17, 1999, in Santiago, Chile • The daughter of Marcela Hein and Gustavo Gomez • Has a younger sister, Tamara, and a younger brother, Joaquin.
