Elizabeth Nyenwe is in her first season as an assistant coach for Georgia Southern. A recent honors graduate with a degree in business administration from Bethune-Cookman University in Florida, Nyenwe is an Level 3 LTA Licensed Coach with a focus in Mini Tennis. She is also a coach at the Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative (WJTI) which is The All-England Lawn Tennis Club's community and members programme.
Nyenwe was named WJTI Coach of the Year 2012 and 2013 as well as being Young Coach of the Year in 2010. She competed regularly as both a junior and a senior, and has represented The All-England Club and the WJTI internationally at tournaments in Ireland and Sweden.
In her college tennis career, she won the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Year award and garnered all-conference honors all of her four playing seasons. She finished her last season with a 21-5 record and also had a 15-match winning streak during the playing season.Â
Nyenwe is currently pursuing a masters degree in business administration at Georgia Southern.Â
