FRESHMAN (2016)
Named the 2016 Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year as well as an All-SBC First-Team selection … Finished true freshman campaign with a 22-14 record, two saves and five shutouts in 43 appearances with 34 games started complimenting a team-leading 3.33 ERA … In conference action, went 9-7 in 19 appearances with 16 starts and a 3.03 ERA … Held batters to a .225 batting average for the year and held league foes to a .216 average … Her 43 appearances is second all-time in program history for a single season while her 34 starts is good enough for third all-time … Her 24 complete games is tied for seventh-most in program history and her 22 wins is second all-time but sets the program record for wins by a freshman pitcher … Pitched 202 total innings, the ninth-most by an Eagle pitcher in a single campaign, and struck out 182 batters, tied for fifth-most in a single season … Recorded 46 strikeouts against teams within the top-75 of the RPI … Had three complete game, one hitters: Feb. 19 vs. North Florida, March 4 vs. North Dakota, April 23 at Troy … One of her five shutouts on the year came in the series finale against eighth-ranked Louisiana … On March 15, held nationally ranked Texas A&M scoreless for five innings, the longest the Aggies had gone into a game without scoring to that point of the season … Recorded season-high 14 strikeouts in single game, ranks tied for seventh in program history for strikeouts in single game.
