AS A FIFTH-YEAR SENIOR (2021)
Started all 43 games as a fifth-year senior for the Eagles ... Hit .301 with four doubles, two triples, a home run and 20 RBI ... Was a perfect 3-for-3 on the basepaths and led the team with five sacrifice hits ... Finished her Georgia Southern career ranked among the Top 10 in eight separate statistical categories, including ranking second in runs scored (140), fourth in hits (221), tied for fourth in triples (10), fourth in at-bats (671), fifth in batting average (.329), seventh in RBI (103), eighth in doubles (35) and 10th in slugging percentage (.474) ... Went 4-for-5 with two triples, three runs scored and six RBI in the Eagles' 13-5 win over Charlotte on February 21, becoming just the fifth player in GS softball history to have six or more RBIs in one game as well as just the fourth Eagle to have two triples in one game ... Went 2-for-4 with three RBI in the Eagles' Sun Belt series-opening 9-1 win over South Alabama on April 30 ... Went 4-for-12 with four RBI in the Eagles' three-game Sun Belt sweep at Georgia State on May 6-7 ... Named to the President's List for maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA for Spring 2021.
AS A SENIOR (2020)
Started all 24 games for the Eagles as a senior ... Will return for the 2021 season ... Hit .403 with four doubles, two triples, five home runs and 11 RBI ... Also drew 13 walks for a .511 on-base percentage ... Slugged a team-best .722 on the year ... Ranked among the Sun Belt's leaders in 10 separate offensive categories, leading the league in total bases (52) and runs scored (25) ... Ranked 78th in NCAA Division I in total bases and 92nd in on-base percentage ... Ranked 48th in runs per game (1.04) ... Collected a nine-game hitting streak from Feb. 26-March 7 ... Had seven multi-hit games ... Went 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored at Auburn on Feb. 28 ... Also notched three hits, including a triple, in the Eagles' 9-4 win over Charleston Southern on Feb. 16 .... Blasted a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh to give Georgia Southern a 5-3 win over Mercer on Feb. 12 ... Drove in three runs, including two on a home run, in Georgia Southern's 8-2 win over Binghamton on Feb. 28 ... Ranks 10th all-time in Georgia Southern history in career hits (180), tied for fifth in triples (8), tied for fifth in runs scored (116) , seventh in slugging percentage (.497) and tied for fourth in batting average (.336) ... Named to the Dean's List for Spring 2020.
AS A JUNIOR (2019)
Started 46 games for the Eagles as a junior ... Hit .325 with eight doubles, two triples, two home runs and 21 RBI ... Began the season on a seven-game hitting streak, and also collected a team-best 10-game hitting streak between March 3-22 ... Also had a seven-game hitting streak from March 27-April 10 ... Had 15 multi-hit games ... Had a home run and drove in three in the Eagles' 9-4 win over ACC foe Boston College on March 2 ... Went 5-for-10 with three RBI in the Eagles' Sun Belt series win over Coastal Carolina on March 15-17 ... Went 3-for-3 with a two-run double in the Eagles' 10-3 Sun Belt win at UTA on March 22.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018)
Started 51 games a a sophomore for the Eagles ... Hit a team-best .331 with eight doubles, two home runs and 26 RBI ... Earned second-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors as an outfielder for a second straight season ... Only the fourth Eagle to earn All-Sun Belt Conference honors twice in a career ... Notched 12 multi-hit games ... Hit .321 in Sun Belt Conference play ... Her three-run home run gave the Eagles a 3-2 victory over Austin Peay in the 2018 season opener on Feb. 10 ... Went 2-for-2 with three RBI in the Eagles' 7-5 eight-inning win at Georgia State on May 5 ... Went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in the Eagles' 6-1 win over ETSU on March 4 ... Notched at least one hit in nine of her first 10 games of the 2018 season ... Made just one error in 81 outfield chances.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017)
A second-team All-Sun Belt selection … Played in 50 games, starting 49 … Picked up 40 starts in right field, six at second base and three as the designated player … Batted .323 on the season with 53 hits … Led the team with 11 doubles … Also had four home runs and three triples … Drove in 25 runs and scored 39 times … Drew five walks and had four stolen bases … Had a team-high five sac bunts and also had two sac flies … Was second on the team with 15 multi-hit games …Also had six multi-RBI games … Had the longest hitting streak of the season at 11 games.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-time letterwinner at East Coweta High School for head coach Franklin Deloach … Earned All-Region 2-AAAAAAA first-team honors in 2012, 2013 and 2015 and was named the Region Player of the Year as a senior in 2015 … Led the Indians to the region championship in all fours years (2012-15) … As a senior, set the records for single-season batting average as well as on-base percentage … Played travel ball for the Georgia Elite and head coach Australia Hoover … Away from softball, also played basketball for East Coweta.

Born Mekhia Adalis Freeman on July 14, 1998 in Newnan, GA … Daughter of Marvin and Tabitha Freeman … Has two siblings, Jay and Baileigh … Graduated in May of 2019 with her bachelor's degree in Finance ... Dad, Marvin, and uncle, Melvin, both attended Georgia Southern.
