2020-21 Outdoor third-team All-Sun Belt

Junior (2020-21) – Indoor: Ran on the 4x400 relay team that posted the fourth-fastest time in school history (3:50.04) and finished fourth at the Sun Belt Championships • Ran personal bests in the 60-meter dash (7.64) and the 200 (25.18) at the Sun Belt Championships • Finished second in the 60 at the Samford Invite (7.71). Outdoor: Qualified for the NCAA Regionals in the 4x100 relay • Took ninth in the 200 (24.39, personal best) and 10th in the 100 (11.85) at the Sun Belt Championships • Took second in the 100 at the Georgia Tech Invite (11.82) • Ran on the 4x100 team that posted the second-fastest time in school history (44.98) and finished third at the Sun Belt Championships • Ran on the 4x400 relay team that recorded the fourth-fastest time in school history (3:43.02) and finished fourth at the Sun Belt Championships • Finished third in the 100 at the USF Invite (11.79w).

2019-20 (SOPHOMORE): Indoor: Did not compete...Outdoor: Season canceled due to COVID-19.  

2018-19 (FRESHMAN) Indoor:
Competed in four meets in various sprinting events…Best finish came at the Clemson Opener where she placed seventh in the 60m with a time 7.91. Outdoor: Competed in seven meets where she finished in the top-10 on 11 occasions…Her best overall meet was the GATA Classic where she placed second in the 100m (12.42), second as part of the 4x100 relay, second as part of the 4x400 relay and third in the 200m (25.58)…Her 4x100 relay team (Desiree Blunt, Beyunka Foster, Meagan Lynch) placed first at the Georgia Southern Invite with a time of 47.63. Scored three points as part of the 4x100 relay (Foster, Blunt, Izlyn Zaini) at the Sun Belt Championships with a time of 46.49.

High School: Competed for four years at Henry County High School… Named Region MVP… County Champion in the 100m and 200m… Named Athlete of the Year… Holds Henry County Hugh School records in 100m, 200m and 4x100m Relay… Also a member of the Cheerleading team, including two years at Team Captain.

Personal: Daughter Franklin and Shunda Mathis… Has three siblings; Antonio, Justin, and Yalik Mathis. Related to Dalvin Thomas, a defensive tackle for the New York Giants.

Major: Interdisciplinary studies.
