
Douglas Wins Individually as Eagles Claim UNG Invitational Title

DAHNLONEGA - Georgia Southern's women's cross country team continued its 2026 season Friday evening at the UNG Cross Country Invitational on September 18, delivering a dominant performance to claim first place as a team.
Sophomore Hannah Douglas led the way for the Eagles, capturing first place individually with a time of 18:08.9. With her performance, Douglas moved up to second all-time on Georgia Southern's women's 5K performance list.
"Great individual and team win this weekend. Hannah led the way, dominating the race and making moves at the right time. Proud of the group. Especially great job to Cameron Belcher for running a season best by almost 2 minutes. She put a great race together today," head coach Timothy Susko said.
The Eagles return to action Friday, October 2, at the Georgia Tech Cross Country Invitational in Atlanta, Georgia.
