Eagles Complete Action At ITA Regionals

Georgia Southern sent seven players to play in singles and doubles action at the USTA National Campus in Orlando
Seven Eagles saw singles action, with four Eagles taking part in the main draw. Mackenzie Leopold, earning a spot in the main draw through qualifying, faced off against teammate Franzi Heinemann in the first round and Heinemann prevailed, 7-5, 6-4.
In doubles action, Evelyn Warkentin and Juliette Nask won their opening match of the main doubles draw, defeating Barianakova and Serrano of Kennesaw State, 8-0.
