STATESBORO — Georgia Southern cross country opens its 2024 season at Georgia Military College for the Brickyard Invitational on Friday, Sept. 6. The women's 5k race is slated for 5:45 p.m. 

Georgia Southern last competed at the Brickyard Invitational in 2021 claiming the team title while four Eagles finished within the top-6.

All 12 Eagles will compete in the event with four Eagles set to make their debuts.
