GS Dean's List Spring 2025

Freshman (2024-25) - XC: Won the 6^th GMC Brickyard Invitational title with a time of 18:56.5 to set a new course record •  Named Sun Belt Runner of the Week (9/11) •  Set personal best in 5k and 6k Indoor: Competed in all four meets •  Set a 5000m personal best with a time of 17:33.68 to finish third at the Celebration Pointe Classic •  Also set personal best in the 800m and 3000m. Outdoor: Competed in five events • Time of 4:41.61 in the 1500 at the Georgia Showdown was fifth-best in school history • Broke school record in the 3K Steeplechase at the SBC Outdoor Championships with a time of 11:20.27 • Also earned the second-best time in the 5K there with a time of 17:56.64.

Prep: Competed for five years for coach Jackie Hardin at Bishop Kenny High School • All-First Coast cross country 2020 Honorable Mention • 2020 FHSAA State Track and Field Qualifier in the 800 • 2021-2022 All News 4 Jax girls cross country Honorable Mention • Florida Times Union All-First Coast cross country team Honorable Mention • 2022-2023 Florida Times Union All-First Coast girls cross country third team • 2023 Florida Times Union Athlete of the Week • Top 5 All Time 5K Bishop Kenny girls leaderboard • Owns school record in the 800 • Also competed in basketball • Personal best of 18:50 in 5K. 

Personal: Born Emily Wheldon on December 17, 2005 in Jacksonville, Fla. • The daughter of Mark and Lisa Wheldon • Three relatives attended Georgia Southern.
