STATESBORO - Georgia Southern head men's soccer coach Chris Adams has announced the signing of six freshman to grants in aid to play for the Eagles in the upcoming 2025 season.

The six signees are: 5-8 midfielder Paisley Cathey (Cleveland, Ga. / Habersham Central HS); 5-8 goalkeeper Addison Daughtry (Marietta, Ga. / Pope HS); 5-4 midfielder Alixandria Fletcher (Saint John's, Fla. / Bartram Trail HS); 5-2 midfielder/forward Mia Glisson (Milledgeville, Ga. / John Milledge Academy); 5-6 forward Natalie Heckathorn (Evans, Ga. / Greenbrier HS) and 5-8 defender Kelly Walsh (Alpharetta, Ga. / Lambert HS).

"I love the desire to compete with this 2025 class!" Coach Adams said. "This group will push the envelope and should make an immediate impact. I have communicated the need to come in here to compete and battle to get on the field right away to get us back to our winning ways!"

Named the 2023 Region Goalkeeper of the Year at Pope HS as a junior … Earned second team All-State honors and GHSA All-Star accolades … Also played two years of varsity flag football for the Greyhounds … Played club for GSA … Parents, Casey and Elan, both attended Georgia Southern.
