FOLEY, Ala. – Miëtte Veldman collected 12 kills and nine digs, and James Madison hit .317 for the match to earn a 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-20) volleyball win over Georgia Southern in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Friday afternoon in the Foley Sports Complex.
Eagles of the Match
Paige Powers led the Eagles (16-12) with 12 kills and hit .312 in the contest. Emily Jarome and Chamblee Russell each finished with five kills, and Grace Underwood posted four kills and four blocks.
