2022 Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year
2022 first-team All-Sun Belt

Fifth Year (2022): Played in 99 sets in 27 matches and started 27 contests • Ranked sixth in the Sun Belt in kills (3.71/set) • Finished with 367 kills, 199 digs, 50 blocks and 16 aces • Totaled double-digit kills in 20 matches and double-figure digs 10 times • Had eight double-doubles in kills and digs • Posted a season-high 22 kills at Coastal Carolina (10/7) • Tallied a season-high 14 digs twice, most recently vs. Georgia State (10/22). 

Before Georgia Southern: Transfer from Towson, where she was a four-year starter • Two-time second-team All-CAA selection and named first-team all-league as a senior • Named to CAA All-Rookie Team in 2018 • Tallied 1,034 kills, 775 digs, 174 blocks and 89 service aces in 99 matches and 361 sets at Towson • Helped lead the Tigers to three CAA Tournament Championships and subsequent NCAA Tournament appearances • Played outside hitter for head coach Lauren DiSabatino at Padua Academy during her prep career • In 2014, earned second-team all-state and Prep Volleyball Frosh 50 accolades • In 2015, earned first-team all-state and AVCA Phenom List recognition • In 2016, earned first-team all-state, was the Delaware Volleyball Player of the Year, the Prep Volleyball National Junior of the Year finalist and earned Prep Volleyball All-America Honorable Mention• As a senior, named first-team all-state, AVCA Phenom, Delaware Volleyball Player of the Year, was the Gatorade Player of the Year, Prep Highest Honorable Mention All-America • Holds the Delaware record for most kills in a career with 1,166.

Personal: Born Emily Ann Jarome Aug. 3, in Wilmington, Delaware • The daughter of Robert and Susanne Jarome • Stepfather is Dan Parncutt and stepmother is Sandy Ferguson • Has one older brother, Zachary • Father, Robert, played football at James Madison.

Major: Pursuing her master’s degree in public administration.
