The Eagles are 2-5 in Sun Belt tournament action since joining the league in 2014. This will be the second time Georgia Southern has faced Coastal Carolina in the postseason - the Chanticleers defeated the Eagles, 4-1, in the 2017 semifinals ... Georgia Southern placed three players on the All-Conference team, announced last week. Graduate student Marcela Montoya and redshirt freshman Elis Nemtsov were first-team honorees, while sophomore Sade Heinrichs was a second-team honoree ... Coastal Carolina is paced by All-Conference forward Megan Brouse.
