Quickly: Georgia Southern enters the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Tournament as the No. 4 seed, and faces No. 5 seed Coastal Carolina on Wednesday in SBC Quarterfinals action ... The Eagles are 2-5 in Sun Belt tournament action since joining the league in 2014. This will be the second time Georgia Southern has faced Coastal Carolina in the postseason - the Chanticleers defeated the Eagles, 4-1, in the 2017 semifinals ... Georgia Southern placed three players on the All-Conference team, announced last week. Graduate student Marcela Montoya and redshirt freshman Elis Nemtsov were first-team honorees, while sophomore Sade Heinrichs was a second-team honoree ... Coastal Carolina is paced by All-Conference forward Megan Brouse. Brouse had a hat trick in Coastal Carolina's 4-1 win over the Eagles on Oct. 15, and she also had the game-winning goal in the Chanticleers' 1-0 win over regular season champion Arkansas State on October 24 ... The winner of Wednesday's game will play in the semifinals on Friday at 8 pm ET.
