Addison Comer, Kendall Wilson each earn first career accolades from the league; fifth year out of the last six GS has multiple All-Conference honorees
STATESBORO - Georgia Southern fifth-year midfielder Kendall Wilson and fourth-year forward Addison Comer have each been named to the 2026 All-Sun Belt Conference Women's Soccer Second Team, announced today by league officials.
Wilson earns her first All-Conference honor in the midfield in her final season with the Eagles. The Fort Walton Beach, Fla., native scored four goals and added two assists for 10 points, starting all 18 matches for Georgia Southern this season. The set piece specialist scored three of her four goals on penalty kicks and added a goal on a free kick this season and wraps up her Eagle career with nine goals and five assists for 23 points in 65 matches played.
Comer, meanwhile, also earns her first All-Conference honor as a forward for leading the Sun Belt Conference in assists with eight. The Jackson, Miss., native also added six goals for 20 points - all numbers which led the Eagles this season and set new career highs. Comer's eight assists are the most for a Georgia Southern player since 2015 and she is the first Eagles to reach 20 points in a season since 2023.
The Eagles have had multiple All-Conference performers in five of the last six seasons. Georgia Southern finished the 2026 campaign with an 8-5-5 record, improving by six wins from a season ago and staying in the Top 100 of the NCAA's RPI rankings all year.
