GS Swimming & Diving Begins Conference Championship Swimming Tomorrow

STATESBORO - The Georgia Southern Swimming & Diving team will compete for the conference championship Wednesday - Saturday as the 2020 Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) meet takes place at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center, on the campus of University of Tennessee in Knoxville,Tenn.
The four-day event begins with diving and relay action on Wednesday, then continues with prelims and finals through Saturday. The Eagles will be competing against 10 other schools that sponsor women's swimming and diving.
Last year, the Eagles earned 990 points at the CCSA Championships, finishing fourth behind CCSA Champions Liberty University, runner-up Florida Gulf Coast University and University of Incarnate Word.
Overall, there will be 20 events over the four days. You can see a complete schedule of the events here (PDF).There are 13 individual swim events, five team relay swim events and two diving events that make up the meet.
