Eagles Continue CCSA Competition

FULL RESULTS
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Georgia Southern Swimming and Diving dropped to eighth in the CCSA Championship standings on Thursday.
Melissa Cox had an impressive showing in the 50 Free prelims. She swam a lifetime best time of 23.11 and the second fastest time in school history. In finals, she finished in eighth place.
Klaudia Holt finished second in the B finals in the 500 Free and also swam a lifetime best with a time of 4:59.88. Emily Jones finished 21st and Lydia Evans came in 23rd.
Melissa Cox, Bettie Logan, Holland Danskin and Isabelle Bray swam to another eighth place finish for the Eagles in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:36.10.
Competition continues on Friday with prelims at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m.
