
Eagles Conclude ASun Championships With Top-Four Finish

Orlando, Fla. --- The Georgia Southern swim & dive team wrapped up their time at the 2026 ASun Conference Championships, finishing fourth overall of nine squads.
The story of the day, and the meet, was non other than Karlee Wells. In her last conference meet, she ended the weekend with a second-place finish in the platform dive, and was just one of two female divers to score over 200 in the event. She also was awarded as the Most Outstanding Woman Diver of the Meet by the ASun for her efforts over the four days as well.
In the 200 Breast prelims, the trio of Sarah Luskus, Ieva Evaltaite and Avery Sargeant would all finish 12th-14th, respectively, as they all secured their best times of the season. In the Finals, Luskus would jump up to eleventh overall with her 2:21.17.
Two Eagles also placed in the top ten of the 1650 Free Finals Saturday afternoon. Victoria Kjaerulff swam a 17:23.63 to finish 6th while Sterling Burd was just seven seconds behind her to secure ninth in the event.
The Eagles finished fourth overall as a team, but vaulted over UNC Asheville from their results today, having trailed them after three days. The full team scores can be seen below:

Next, the dive team takes on the Zone B Championships, held in Atens on the campus of the University of Georgia. The Zone B Championships are set to set on March 7th, and run until the 11th.
