
Women’s Soccer Falls 3-0 to Texas State in Final Regular Season Game

Sun Belt Tournament seeds will be released later this week
STATESBORO, Ga. – The Georgia Southern women's soccer team lost 3-0 to Texas State in its final regular season game on Sunday.
The Bobcats' Kaylee Davis scored the first goal and the winning goal. The first goal came in the 10th minute of the game and was assisted by Gabi Jones and Kalen Sanderfer. The winning goal was scored in the 54th minute off a penalty kick.
The second goal for Texas State was scored by Ally Kewish.
Georgia Southern had five shots. Nicole Aussin and Brooke Barrett had two each and Karin Winka had one.
Lauren Karinshak played in goal for the Eagles the whole game and had five saves.
Due to field conditions, the game that was supposed to be played today between Little Rock and Arkansas State will be played Tuesday. The Sun Belt Championship bracket will be released after the game is complete.
